Hi there!
So first of all here is the computer speccs:
CPU - AMD Phenom 2 Black Edition clocked to 4.2Ghz (3.2GHz)
PSU - Corsair Hx 1000W
Motherboard - Asus Maximus Formula V
GPU - 2x XFX Radeon R9 290 Crossfire

So to the case.
I just upgraded my GPU from 1x Radeon HD 6950 to the crossfire R9 290's.

Everything worked fine until i started to play high resolution games like BF4! After running the game for about 20-30 mins i heard a wierd buzzing sound from my headsets and 2 seconds after the screens went black. To reset this the computer required a hard reset, pushing the off button and turn it back on.

At the start i got an error from my CPU saying the clocking failed, so i turned it down and restarted the computer. Now i do not get any error, but the same thing happens again.

I have uptated all drivers, and even added 3 fans (11 in total now) to my case to cool it even more.

I have researched for explanations but the solved ones only case wrong drivers or loose cables. I have checked mostly everything.

Anyone got a clue what it could be?

Hi there

Tempratures while running bf4/benchmark from 3DMark are up to 90 *C
While im in windows its down to 65. The cards are specified to handle 95 so it really shouldnt be any issue tho.

Well, first i wanna try to fix this issue before upgrading anything else. Is it a bad CPU?

No, it sounds more like the GPUs to me, try using one GPU at a time in a prolonged stress test/intensive game and see if one of them displays this issue. Actually physically remove each GPU though as opposed to just disabling one.
