Question Black screen in monitor

When I go full screen in games, it just black screens and comes back on multiple times. But when I take out the HDMI cable that is connected to my monitor and plug it back in, the issue stops. Anyone have any solution to this or some fix? My graphics card is the RX 580 8 GB
