[SOLVED] Black screen in safe mode

Hey yall, I use win 10 LTSB as my os and an MSI GTX 1070 for my graphics. Never had an issue before. Went into safe mode to use DDU to remove old nvidia software and received a black screen, first time ever. I use a displayport connection to my monitor which works great but black screen in safe mode. However when I plug in an HDMI cable it works in safe mode. Very strange, was hoping someone had an idea.

Broke graphics card - try another.

Yes, DisplayPort works in normal mode only, , but HDMI works in both. I only plugged in HDMI to my monitor so I could see the screen in safe mode.

Are you interested in updating your OS - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whats-new/ltsc/ ?

Maybe try a Windows Repair to see if there's any problems.
