Black screen issues.

Hello, I am having you issues (I believe) not completely sure. I just finished my build. My build is as follow.
Cpu: i5 7500
MB: b250m hdv
Cooling unit: Corsair h60
Storage: 150gb ssd plus San disk
2tb barracuda Seagate HDD
GPU: zotac GeForce 970 4gb
Psu: EVGA 500 b1 500 watts.

PC will run fine but after a few hours of gameplay frames will begin to drop. After frame drop game will crash and I won't be able to play anything. I then restart my PC and the pc will black screen. I have to reboot a couple times before graphics card begins to work again. All drivers are up to date Any help would be great thank you.

Could be overheating, were all these parts new? Check temps using a utility like HWMonitor, make sure the fans are working, heatsink is installed properly, video card works OK in another system.
