I have a common black screen issue. If I start my PC and wait a bit I can hear the windows sound, I even managed to log in with a black screen.
I have tried the fixes here, but maybe I am missing something.
I have tried different monitor, cables/adapters.
I have a 4-pin Molex to 8-pin cable, I don't think that's ruining the card because I can get to the log in menu.. but with black screen.
Everything in PC works with my old video card R7 260x 2GB
I have googled video card should work with my motherboard and CPU.
I have tested the video card in my friend PC, he has MSI motherboard and he just plugged it in and everything worked. (he has 650W PSU)
My specs:
PSU - Inter Tech SL-500A 500W (https://www.game-debate.com/psu/index.php?ps_id=435&psu=Inter Tech SL-500A 500W)
Motherboard - M5A97 LE R2.0 (https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M5A97_LE_R20/specifications/ )
Monitor - BenQ XL2410T (120hz)
CPU - AMD FX6300 (Six-Core)
Storage - Kingston SSD 256GB and Hitachi HDD 936GB
GPU - MSI Radeon R9 280X GAMING 3G (TwinFrozr) (https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/R9-280X-GAMING-3G/Specification )
RAM - 3x4GB DDR3 1600mhz (2x Crucials and one random)
Thank you for every answer! <3
