Got blue screen of death (srttrail.txt boot repair loop).
No luck fixing from usb boot disk.
Got new ssd.
Unplugged everything but monitor, mouse/keyboard and new ssd, put in USB and successfully preformed clean install of win10 on new ssd.
Booted into windows, then turned tower off to plug other (non OS) HDDs in.
Now there is only darkness.
Tried with no ssd and still darkness.
Asus m3n78-vm mobo, could it be dead?

Solution
If you havent changed/knocked anything internally and it is just software I would try using your motherboards video inputs or different inputs on the graphics card, guessing that drivers need installing with your new os for the graphics card.

(This is assuming that you are using a graphics card)
