Hello! I was playing rocket league a few days ago and my monitor suddenly went black and my computer shut down. I had GTX 1080ti installed in my computer for a week and after that I removed it and deleted the old drivers and installed my own GTX 980 and the drivers. My computer worked perfectly fine for the first 30 minutes and then this happened. When I start up my computer now my monitor goes instantly black after the POST screen and it says "no signal". After the POST screen my computer won't shut down so it "works perfectly normal without a display". My GPU fan is working perfectly even though my display has no signal. I can't access the BIOS because the display goes black after I would be able to access the BIOS. I have tried the same GPU in my other computer and the same problem occurs. My computer is working perfectly with integrated graphics and with AMD HD6950. Temperatures are fine. Please help me as soon as possible, this problem is really getting on my nerves! Thanks for your time!

Can you boot into safe mode without losing display?

Since you cannot access via rebooting to safemode with no display (at least, no easily), you'll need to interrupt the boot cycle 3 times.
Either hit the reset button, or cut the power for 3 consecutive boots. On the 4th, it should automatically repair & present you with the option to boot to safemode.

If the issue doesn't persist in safemode, chances are you have a software issue going on.
