Recently got a second-hand PULSE Sapphire RX 6600 but i am getting "no signal" on my monitor despite trying all the ports on the card (3 x DP, 1 x HDMI)

This is what i did:
1. Used DDU to do a clean full uninstall of nvidia drivers and shutdown
2. Remove old GPU, install RX6600. plug in HDMI.
3. Turn on PC, No signal.
4. Shut down PC switch to iGPU, Go to bios, check that onboard gpu is disabled by default.
5. repeat step 3 and change cable and ports.

I also tried to disable hardware acceleration but it is still showing "no signal" on black screen. The GPU fans are spinning too.

Current System setup:
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel - Intel Core i5-8600K
CPU Cooler: Stock
Motherboard: ASRock H370M-ITX/ac
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Desktop Memory Kit
Storage: Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2, 80+ GOLD 750W
Case: Thermaltake Core V1

Did you try to slot into a different PCI-e slot?
What version of HDMI cables are you using?

i googled and saw that it requires a hdmi 2.1 as bare minimum

You could try updating the motherboard bios to the latest version.

I've tried both HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.1, and Display port adapter (HDMI to displayport) and Display Port cable.
And what would be your monitors and its resolution? Specify those.
I am using acer KG271 27 inch monitor, 1080p.

Doesnt matter. HDMI is a Backwards and Forwards compatible standard, when it doesnt work at the latest version itll run at previous version signal or lower.

Oh, i misread that as you plugging in 4 monitors on it, because you might just straight up ran out of display bandwidth. But yeah, now that is indeed odd.

Lets do quick physical check then.

Make sure the cable is LAC (Level, All the way in, Clicked), same with the Pcie connector from the GPU to the motherboard. Sometimes it can enter crooked due to the pcie lock engaging before the card is fully seated correctly, if this is repeatedly happening to you try inserting the card from the left side pcie bracket holes on your case to the right.

Open the Device Manager and see if you can find the GPU there. Use the iGPU to see the desktop, and then right click on the windows button to find "Device Manager". from there, click on Display Adapters. For example this is on my desktop, and i can see my 6700XT on the display adapter section.

If it instead shows a warning sign logo next to the GPU, click it and send me the screenshot of the Device Status. Also tell me if it isnt even there.

Yup, it's clicked in and locked without any problems.

unfortunately, i can't get to this stage, even when connecting it to my igpu as the display, the rx6600 doesn't fan doesn't spin but it is still showing no signal. I don't know what's going on.
Do you have a separate setup that you can test it on?
Unfortunately, no.

You could try updating the motherboard bios to the latest version.
I've just updated from P3.0 to P4.2 from asrock website.
I managed to see the display of it booting up to the point where it is loading my windows account then, it just goes black again with no signal. I am really confused as to why it is acting this way.
Repeated the steps of switching different cables hoping the display goes back on but no to avail.

Do you have a spare drive you can use to install a fresh copy of windows?

also, can you try to boot up via safe mode?

Can you try the following?

Remove your 2x8gb RAM and try it individually.
I've tried your suggestion but still doesn't work.

I've bought a 2nd hand gtx 1660 ti and it works fine. seems like the rx6600 is defective?

guess i'm out of luck getting back my money since the seller ghosted me after i told him about the issue.
