Black Screen of Death when installing Intel HD Graphics Driver - Please Help

I'm at my wits end and have spent hours today troubleshooting. I have tried installing different driver versions, and have even made a clean install of Windows with no luck. Earlier today I went to install updated graphics drivers on a Dell XPS 13 9350. Something went wrong and they seemed to only partially install. After attempting to reinstall, at the next reboot I ended up with a black screen of death (no cursor) after the little revolving balls. I tried System Restores, clean installs and nothing works. At best, video works when set to Basic Adapter, but it even tries to update and I end up with a Black Screen of Death. I've never had this problem until now. I even tried installing the pre-Anniversary Update version of Windows 10 and it won't even accept Intel Graphics drivers...you get the new hardware found sound and then screen goes black only to not come back on. Hardware diagnostics from the Dell Bios pass, not that that means anything. Thoughts?

Check your event viewer for crash log clues and ideally try resetting your BIOS.
