Hi, anyone had an issue, black screen appears on main monitor, but secondary monitor works fine without single issue. The way to fix it is i am physically removing power cable from it and re-connecting it, then it works fine. It is happening at random, every few days, and started out recently, for 3 years i had no issue or whatsoever. I am using the same PC and same Monitors ever since.

Could it be that my cable has gone bad or it's Monitor gone bad ?

Event viewer is showing no errors or what so ever, also when i get black screen on main monitor, i can do whatever i want on second, i don't have a single issue.
Main monitor - Display Port connected
Secondary monitor - HDMI connected

Try changing the video cables as follows;

Main monitor - HDMI
Secondar monitor - Display Port

If both monitors have display port and HDMI. if the problem then migrated to the Secondary monitor, then we can assume its a prob with the GPU and not the monitors.

The likely case is the monitor going bad, as I've seen monitors where you have to press the power button to turn off and then turn on again to work. This could be similar to yours. does yours work again if you turn it on and off using its power button?

I will try it and see what happens. No, power button doesn't reset it, only if i physically remove power cable and put back on, then it works normally.

Problem with GPU, you assume, Display Port might be faulty on GPU ?

I got no issues at all with GPU, regarding playing video games etc, no crashes, no lags, works normally as should.
