Hello, my friend is having an issue where when he boots up his PC it's just black, the only text that is showing is the little one on the bottom that lets him access the bios "Press Del or F2 to enter uefi bios settings" and if he presses either F2 or Del then the little text stays pretty forever and rest is black. If he doesnt press any buttons the little text dissapears and it's completely black.

This started after he rebooted his computer cuz his discord was acting up (making his sound a bit robotic).

He has tried to take out the ram memories and put them back in and he has tried to find the CMOS battery but he can't find it. We don't know what motherboard he has.

Sorry if this is vague but it's pretty much everything we know, also we don't know much about computers so it's a bit hard for us.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

We're going to need a little more information. Can you parse the system's specs like so;
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

If you're on Windows 10, include the version of the OS. Include the age of the PSU as well as it's make and model.

If you can get into BIOS, take note of the BISO version you're working with on your motherboard.
