[SOLVED] Black Screen on Mac

Hi there, my step father recently spilt water on my mom's Mac. It starts up and then the screen goes completely black. It works when I connect it to the TV via a HDMI cord. Are there any commands I can use to fix this?

It starts with an Apple and progress bar? It works as usual when connected to external display? It could be a loose display connector inside the computer, not related to the water. If that is the case, you can open it reseat the cable or take it to a certified repair shop.
