black screen on prime95 overnight

hi i tested my new oc on the i7 D0 930 bloomfield 4.0ghz.
i left it overnight to see if it stable but when i woke up it was a black screen... what does it mean?

turn everything off at the wall. turn on the monitor and wait for no signal wait for it to go into standby and take a rough estimate how long that was.
now turn the monitor on again and again wait for no signal.
when you see it hit the power on the pc and if the monitor jumps into standby your cpu is dead. if it takes the normal time then the problems elsewhere possibly motherboard damage or psu related.

or just a small restart and thats it.. but what cuased it? how do i make sure it wont happened again?

so a black screen means raising a notch at cpu voltage?
