Black screen on startup after using DDU

I used DDU to uninstall my GPU drivers, rebooted the PC and reinstalled the drivers. From then on everytime I boot my PC I get a black screen (with a cursor) for about 20 seconds before the desktop appears. The OS is located on the SSD, which is now kinda useless since the boot time has doubled (basically an HDD boot time). I know it's not a huge problem but it's bothering me.

If you uninstall the driver manually, does your boot times improve?
