Black screen problem

Hi, i just purchased new RAM mem and when i attached it and tried to start computer, there is nothing on screen, its black... i tried to put back my old RAM, and its the same...(i checked compability and all...) please help

I would reset the CMOS and try booting with one stick of RAM. What are the complete system specs? If the RAM and motherboard support XMP profiles then you should set the XMP profile if you get into the BIOS with one stick of RAM installed. You can then try with more than one stick of RAM.

intel core 2 quad 2.5GHZ amd radeon r9 270x motherboard is asus p5p41t le i already tried reseting CMOS, but nothing changes... is it possible that my motherboard died ?
