This really seems unfortunate. If you have the Windows installation media, I'd suggest you try booting from it into the OS. Once there, you can check if the SSD is recognized anywhere. However, make sure you have set the boot order right.
I'd also give the
BIOS reset a try as well. It would get your BIOS settings back to factory defaults, so you might need to reconfigure them afterwards.
If you have access to another computer, I'd suggest you connect the SSD there and see if it will get detected. I guess I'd also try plugging it with a different SATA cable and a different SATA port on your mobo, to check if you'd be able to boot from the solid-state drive.
