Today while playing league of legends on my typically stable pc my screen went black and it froze. When I restarted my computer it would not start windows 75% of the time, and when it did finally start up it would work for about an hour then freeze again. It seemed to me like a system overheat because I don't have any new hardware and it is pretty hot here, but my temps on my cores are around 50 celcius and my gpu is around 60. What information can I give to help figure out how to fix the issue.

I have a mostly prebuilt and quad core 2.2 ghz with a new psu (corsair 750 tx) gpu (6950 2gb) and case (mid to full sized).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

You temp seems normal to me since I play LOL too. If that's the temp while you gaming, it should be fine. I have the exact same graphic card, they run around 65C while playing LOL. Your CPU looks a little, just a little high to me. Check your graphic card sitting. I would say go through trouble shooting guide on this pre-build/new build forum i don't remember where. Update your Graphic card to latest driver. If that doesn't help, it might be a deficient GPU, Hard drive.

Can you describe how your monitor froze? At which point of the game? Does it stuck at an image or it went completely black? This sounds like a hardware problem to me.
