Not really sure when it started but it was a while ago.
For some reason whenever I turn on my computer it boots up regularly but as soon as it gets to the Windows 10 log in screen where i have to put my password... it goes completely black. I cant even see the cursor.
I can still log in but I cant see anything.
As soon as I put my password in and it takes me to the desktop I can see everything again.
Now I think its because my log in screen wallpaper is completely black.
Let me explain.
Whenever I watch any kind of video or whenever I play a game where the scene goes completely black. All of a sudden my monitor turns black. It wont be until the scene changes from black to something else or I close the video player that the screen comes back.
But i wont even be able to see my mouse cursor or any other features for the video or anything.
I need help. Does anyone know what this could be?
It happened even before I switched my GPU.
Edit/Fix: I was able to figure out after research. Its the ASCR function on my Monitor. I turned off ASCR and the problem went away. Hope this helps someone else
