Question Black screen when clean installing windows 10

So I had an issue before where I would stop receiving signal to monitor after windows would launch. Found out that windows was corrupted and got a new ssd to launch from. Can get it to post and power keyboard and mouse. It gets to the point of installing windows from the usb where it’s copying files, gets to around 13% then the keyboard goes out and the monitor stops receiving signal. Tried DP and hdmi. I don’t have onboard to test that. Everything else graphics wise works fine until that point. The fans spin up then slow down and repeat doing that. Any ideas what might be wrong? Is the mobo toasted?

Update it’s getting files ready to install not copying files

Could be the Windows files on the usb. Did you use Windows Media Creation Tool?

Yeah I did. After finding some parts and putting together a donor pc the only two parts I couldn’t test separately was the cpu and the mobo. Otherwise it boots fine so I guess its one of those two
