Black screen when graphics card is installed

I've been having a problem for the past couple of days when I install my graphics card the screen goes black but when I take it out it goes back to onboard graphics and it works normally. When graphics card is installed I get no signal via VGA or HDMI I've updated my BIOS messed with the CMOS and device manager but to no avail every component is new . The display Works normally without the graphics card in it while being plugged to the mobo it's just when I plug in the graphics card I get no signal everything lights up fans spin but it just doesn't display. If anybody knows how to fix this can yall help me out

Mobo: gigabyte ga ab 350 gaming 3
Ram: Patriot ddr4 2666 8gb
Hdd:seagate barracuda 2tb
Graphics: msi geforce 1050 ti gaming x
Psu:thermaltake 600w
Case: corsair spec 1

Did you disconnect the cable to your monitor from the motherboard and reconnected it on the graphics card?

No i didnt the graphics card doesn't take VGA I only have it plugged into the motherboard and the monitor via VGA

Well, you have to connect it to the graphics card itself in order to get a picture. Otherwise only the onboard will work.
