Question Black Screen When in Full Screen Game

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue where my monitor will flicker to a black screen like it is losing signal from the DP cable. I have made sure the drivers for the monitor and graphics card are up to date. I have also changed cables, changed ports on the GPU and changed settings on Windows 11 to give "high performance" when in the games. It does it more often when I'm playing Valorant but also happens when I'm playing R6 Siege.

I am using Display Port 1.4 on my monitor; 4K 144hz natively. I look forward to your help/ suggestions.

GPU: EVGA 3080 Ti
Monitor: Samsung Odyssey G7

which resolution exactly are you using?

optimum resolution and refresh rate
2560 x 1440 @ 144 Hz (HDMI)

maximum resolution and refresh rate
2560 x 1440 @ 240 Hz (DisplayPort)

update the firmware of the monitor

check with a different monitor/TV

change the port of the monitor

check with a lower refresh rate

try HDMI
