I try to boot up my pc (monitor connected to gpu using dvi cable) and the mobo screen shows up with very small resolution after which one of these two happen:
1. the screen goes black and the monitor suggests a resolution of 1080x1920.
2. The monitor informs me that there is no signal
I tried to use hdmi and it worked normally but cannot go back to 60Hz. I also removed the gpu and plugged the dvi cable into the mobo and it worked. Can this mean there is a problem with the gpu's dvi port?
I lately moved my pc out of the living room back into my bedroom after lans and this happened. I have used the same monitor, pc and dvi cable during and before the lans. Very strange...
What do i do??
