So Iv been trying to get this fixed for over a week now, so about 2 weeks ago I went to shut my desktop down but accidentally clicked on sleep/hibernate mode, and now everytime I go to but the system up I just get a black screen before the login page, Iv tried every solution the microsoft support team have give me and other fourms
What I have tried: Going into Windows 8 Advanced Options, tried a system restore, System Image Recovery, Automatic Repair, Command Prompt none of this has fixed my solution I then tried to fully reinstall Windows 8 this was unsuccessful So then I tried to boot from the windows installation disc this seemed to work for about an hour I updated to windows 8.1 and then had about 90 updates once they were done installing I needed to restart the system then same problem, had the black screen again and then it eventually the login screen came on after around 10 mins, I then needed to do more updates again once these were done another restart was needed and again I still have the black screen!
I have contacted my pc manufacture tech support (totally useless) I need this resolved fast!
