Hello guys!
Today I decided to upgrade my old pc with a new MOBO(ROG STRIX H370-F Gaming) and an Intel i5 9600k CPU.. I replaced my old parts with the new and connected everything, but when I turn on the computer the LED on the side of the MOBO goes from red to orange and stays there for 5 seconds on the notifier bar thing where's it's written DRAM.. The computer turns on and stays on and the RGB on the MOBO are on, but I don't get any image on my screen (tried with Displayport, HDMI and VGA on both GPU & MOBO) So I guess it isn't a faulty MOBO?

My ram sticks are 3 years old and are HyperX Fury 2x4GB 2133MHz.
Could my ram sticks be the culprit that I need at least 2666MHz to use my new mobo?

Other specs:
Corsair VS550, 550W PSU
ROG STRIX 1070
Corsair H55 Hydro Series CPU Cooler

Solution
The BIOS that supports that CPU was released about 3 months ago. There is a good chance that your motherboard has an older BIOS on it and thus it will not work with that CPU until the BIOS to flashed to a newer version.

The guy in the store told me it supported the new 9gen but not like this !
Thanks for the quick answer, guess I'll try to switch my motherboard or cpu to a different one that supports each other
