Black screen with white flashing bar on top left

Yestersay i came back from my training read some articles and turned my pc off this morning i tried turning it on and all i see is a black screen with white bar flashing on the top left i tried restarting couple of times and also tried alt + f10 but it just made a weird click click click noise from my pc. I have 4gigs of ram a very weak cpu and gt 1030

It means that operating system is bad or broken and can't boot further. Coupled with that ticking noise I'd say HDD is bad.
