Hii there Mrrallen24:benetton:
Im here to help!!
Well when laptops goes to black screen its most likely when you hit the laptop hard enough that it has lost its bios startup perhaps or something might have happend.:disrelieved:
But dont worry maybe these tricks wil help solve the problem.
1.Try to reset your Bios. Resetting your Bios can help for many problems such as black screens and more.
Steps.
Remove your laptop battery...then press and hold the power button for at least 30seconds or a bit longer. This wil reset your bios and its suppose to boot right into your Bios then into your windows again.
2.Try to switch your ram in other ram slots(IF YOUR LAPTOP CAN)
Steps.
By removing the back panel of your laptop and to look for a small ram chip...take it it and place it into another ram slot or maybe just take it out and put it back inside.
Then start up your laptop again and see if it worked.
3.Remove your hardrive and place it carefully back in.
Steps.
Also at the back panel...look for your hardrive and unscrew it and take it out and place it back in.
4.CONNECT YOUR LAPTOP TO AN TV OR MONITOR
Steps.
Use an HDMI/VGA cable to connect to your laptop and to the screen...just to test if its not your laptops screen thats not working. Many laptops does that.
try it and let me know;)
Here is a link as well to help you with the problem if my advice didnt worked
