Question black value in ips vs samsung quantum dot

hi guys,
i'm going to buy a monitor soon and i've always been a laptop user. im doing games and my style is mostly dark themed ones.thus the most important thing is deep black. witch one is better in this case? and does va panel suffer from bad veiwing angels?
is there any other panel type even better than this two?

A VA panel will generally have better contrast than an IPS panel thus deeper blacks. IPS panels are certainly not known to produce good black levels compared to VA. VA panels have better viewing angles than TN but not as good as IPS, not sure why this would matter to you if you plan on sitting directly in front of it for gaming.

The deepest blacks would be found in OLED panels or a VA panel with a full array backlight.
