Black vertical lines?

Hi guys, today my screen crashed and I got these black and grey vertical lines? Any idea as to why..

Hi there,

First check the cable from the PC to the monitor...

then try another monitor, if it's solved your monitor is busted.

next step is :
Change the graphics card and try again !
Could be that you card warmed up too much. (like during games)
Simple Graphics card are not expensive... but if it's an expensive one, I could advise you to repair it my way, but you need some extra skills to do so.
