Question BlackArmor NAS 440

I just bought a BlackArmor NAS 440 without hard drives and have two questions.
First, how do you power the thing off?
Second, can you access the device even with no hard drives?

I believe most of the premade nas have a small disk for os included. I'd try logging into it and checking. Might find the power down feature.

If you can't find the ip you can try looking in your router under dhcp lease or you can run a program like nmap. check instructions on how to login the first time.
