Will having Android make any difference? Its all about that apps not the OS and BB10 can already run android apps and getting the google play store on it is very easy. Not sure what the fuss is.

When BBY dumped the physical keyboard for an on-screen keyboard, they lost any usefulness in my assessment. Also, having their own environment that used other gestures from Android and IOS made it even worse to use.

Hopefully, this new approach will make them more useful and usable again.

Very late, so much so I have no desire to spend time to pre-register to see a photo of the thing, hopefully it is fully Android down to the main screen, for BlackBerry's sake.

Otherwise not cutting ties with BB10 means it is going to fall flat.
