Question Blackmagic Pocket Cinema vs BMPC 4k?

I am looking for a camera on a tight budget. What are the differences between the two, and is the extra $600-750ish worth it? Thanks!

The 4k isnt a big deal. I make indie films. 4k would be nice for post, but not a necessity. I think the more important thing right now would be the larger sensor.

According to the BM site, the price difference is around $300. For that, I would likely go with the 4k for the additional capabilities. Note the differences in physical size/dimensions and how that affect how you use.

My thing however is new it is $300, but used it is astronomically cheaper. However, the 4k one isnt old enough to have cheap used ones. The size difference doesn't bother me, both are a lot smaller than what I used to use, so I'm happy. Would you say the difference is worth about $800ish?

Nope. Not worth that much difference. My daughter has filmed with the non-4k version. With the right lenses, she really liked it.

Small screen. Putting it on the internet and such.
