I couldn't find any threads that were related to mine so if anyone has one they know of link me please :)

So the problem is when I start up windows 10, type in my password and hit enter, it takes a bit longer to load and but doesnt even load my desktop. I can ctrl+alt+del to get task manager going and open up chrome with that, but it wont load any web pages. I didn't change anything the day before so I dont know whats up. I tried booting into safe mode but it still does the same thing. Luckily I had my old hard drive with 8.1 still installed so I could get on, and everything works fine on it. Any ideas?

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- While on the black screen open Task Manager then click on File then New Task.
- Once opened, type in explorer.exe then click OK and see if you'll get your regular desktop screen.
- Open Task Manager again go to Startup tab and disable all of them and do a reboot.
- If these doesn't work I would suggest reinstalling Windows 10.
