Last night I had in play
Blanket of Night
{Each land is a Swamp in addition to its land type.}
and one of my opponents played Extraplanar Lens
{Imprint - When Extraplanar Lens comes into play, you may
remove target land you control from the game.
Whenever a land with the same name as the imprinted card
is tapped for mana, its controller adds one mana to his or
her mana pool of any type that land produced.}
with a Swamp imprinted.

If I tap a plain for mana will I get an extra-mana (black) ?
I believe not because it is not the same name, but my friend think so.
Who's right ?

Blanket of Night changes the subtypes of other lands (specifically, it
adds "Swamp" to them without changing their existing ones), but I see
nothing that would change their names, so you would not get the extra
mana in this case.

In any event, whether the extra mana was black would depend on what you
tapped the land for in the first place, not on what land was imprinted
on Extraplanar Lens; you could get WW or BB if your friend were right
about the name, but not BW.

Nope.

You are, in fact. It used to be, a while back, that changing a land's land
type to a basic land type also changed its name; this hasn't been true for
some time though. The lands affected by BoN gain land type Swamp, in addition
to whatever type they may have had (most nonbasic lands have no type at all),
and the ability "Tap: Add B to your mana pool" in addition to whatever
abilities they had before. They don't gain the name Swamp in addition to their
own, so Extraplanar Lens doesn't trigger for them unless they were Swamps to
start with.

No, the other lands don't get anybody any extra mana. They are of *type*
Swamp, but they are not *named* Swamp.

You are.

No. EL doesn't say "Whenever a land with the same TYPE as the imprinted card,"
it says "Whenever a land with the same NAME as the imprinted card." Blanket
of Night gives the Plains the TYPE Swamp, but not the NAME Swamp. So you get
no extra mana, black or otherwise...
