This was first posted September 17, 1999 to this newsgroup. I found it so
damn funny I saved it.

I was playing blastside on my own on NGL waiting for someone to join. As it
happens i was an admin and i had disabled the time limit coz I couldn`t be
arsed changing level untill someone joined. I went around my base lauying
defensive traps and turrets which i`m pretty good at. Anyway i was about to
leave after i`d done that and 2 guys joined at the same time.Guess what One
of them was placed on my team but he changed sides Anyone i called him a
llama etc. He was Swearing etc. and saying i would never kill him with
anything. Anyway game goes on for hours him just swearing and me sitting in
my base and whilst he gets madder i destroyed his base and placed turrets in
his base. Anway so after that whenever he respawed he died
It was pretty Funny!

Whilst dwelling eternally uponst that server known as NGL, I didst play with
myself with much vigor. And lo, no man joined with me for an age, and
Blastside was the map on which no man joined. Mine destiny required of me
to remain alone, and being the lord of my realm, I didst cause but one land
to remain and one map to be used.
Having time that floweth over in abundance, I constructed a goodly defense
system on my dwelling portion. And behold, the day did come in which not
one, but two strangers dared enter into my domain. One stranger didst
immediately declare himself mine enemy. But the deceitful stranger tarried
a short while as my comrade. He was given over to the spirit of the llama,
and did leave my dwelling and joined with my sworn enemy.
And I cried, "Thou Llama! This day your soul is required of thee. The
forces of thy might will whither and be blown away by the strong wind of my
defence. In that day that thou should lift up thy blaster and move against
me, that same day will you be delivered to your maker!" And the spirit of
the llama continued to possess the will of the deceitful stranger, and he
cursed me vilely, and swore an oath to bring down my dwelling and all my
careful preparation.
And I cried, "Come get some! For in truth, I can hurt you." (For the llama
spoke through the deceitful stranger saying "Thou canst hurt me.")
A great battle was waged, and there was a trembling of the earth and a
darkening of the sun. And many children were born with no fathers, and many
women were without husbands, and many of my single friends were happy that
there were so many single women.
And it came to pass that the enemy stranger and the llama stranger were cast
down before me and I did blow them to smithereens. Moreover, I did inhabit
their own dwelling and caused a plague of turrets, so that whensoever they
entered even their own dwelling, they were blown to smithereens.
I declared to myself, "Lo, all that I have done is good, and brings me great
humor." And I marked the day of the strangers with an holiday. And the
whole world knew of mine victory because I did laugh mine ass off, and will
do so until the end of my days forever.
