Blaupunkt portable dvd

Portable blaupunkt dvd player grey screen it's reading the disc an playing sound but the screen is grey

Does it have controls for adjusting contrast / brightness?
Does it have a connector to attach external video monitor?
Is it still in warranty?

May be it's time just to toss this into recycle, and get a new one. "Blaupunkt" (or any other well-known brand) on the label does not mean anything these days.
