Blinking dot on new TV

I just purchased a "SuperSonic 1080p 24-inch LED Widescreen HDTV" from ebay a couple of days ago. I just received it today, but when i plugged it in and turned it on, there's a blinking dot (blinks red green and blue) on the middle right top corner (I'll attach a photo to the post). It changes colors and visibility when i put pressure on and around it. How can I fix this?
(I'm pretty sure it's the TV itself and not the tv mode (hdmi, vga, dvi, etc). The dot is still there when I plug and unplug the hdmi cable).
Thanks for any help.

That would be a defect in the LCD panel itself, your chances of fixing it via voodoo magic are low, the only permanent fix is usually a replacement. Otherwise, you're stuck with it. Most manufacturers consider 3-5 stuck or intermittent pixels on budget panels as acceptable and not a valid cause for replacement.
