Blinking Hard Drive light on Dell Optiplex 3010

Why does the hard drive light on my Dell PC flash constantly even when I'm not doing anything or when its on stand by. I know that its normal to blink while using a program, etc. but should it be blinking all the time? Its never did this before. This computer was completely wiped clean at my job so that I could take it home to work from a Terminal Server. It never blinked like that at work but its been doing it ever since I set it up. Please help?

Yes , most of the time it will be blinking because of services running in the background.
