Blinking red light next to power button

Hello,

So I had just recently built my new PC and it works fine other than the fact that there is a blinking red light next to the power button. This red light doesn't go away and is usually there most of the time when the PC is on. I've checked my motherboard and PC case manual and neither mentioned anything about what a red light mean.
If it helps my PC specs are:
MSI B150 M3 Gaming
I7 6700k Skylake
MSI GTX 1080 Gaming
Hypercooleer 212 evo
DDR4 Ram 2x8Gb
Evga 750 GQ power supply.
Rosewill Challenger Atx case
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this kind of question and I apologize in advance if it is not.

Hi, Try disconnecting the HDD_LED wires from the motherboard. If still the same, reconnect them and disconnect the Power LED.

I've disconnected the HDD LED and the red light doesn't show anymore, so is that ok? Was the red light simply telling me that the Hard drive is on or something?

Hi, You're welcome. Yes, the LED shows the HDD activity.
