blinking red MEMOk (Dram LED) on an ASUS Sabertooth 990fx R2.0 motherboard

After 6 months of building my PC and getting excited to have it finally done. As Im turning it on and testing everything I get a blinking red DRAM LED light with no video.

Ive asked some of my friends and theyve said that because there isnt a boot sound the motherboard might be messed up.

I wanna be sure before I buy a new one.

The RAM is seated in the A2 and B2 slots and weve tried reseating them and running it with different arrangements.

If the dram LED is red I would suspect your ram isn't compatible.
