Hi,

Since a few days ago I've had this annoying problem during boot, after the Asus logo I'll get a black screen with a blinking white underscore in the top left of my screen. This didn't happen before which is why it's bothering me.

I've tried resetting cmos/bios, updating bios, reinstalling windows, making sure SSD is the first in the boot priority and everything else I could possibly find online before coming here.

I also tried disconnecting my HDD and just having my SSD connected with no luck still.

The only time it seemed to have stopped was when I removed my GPU and used my integrated GPU instead, which made me think it was the GPU drivers so I uninstalled them and put the GPU back in with no results.

I have attached a video so you can see what I mean, if you need more details just ask.

My Specs:

CPU: i5-6600k
MOBO: ASUS z170-A
GPU: GTX 1070
RAM: 16GB Hyper X Fury 2400
SSD(OS DRIVE): 850 EVO 250GB
1TB HDD

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Thanks!

Solution
First, all the bios stuff happens before windows, so it wouldn't be a driver thing.

It's the way most PC's boot. Could have always been there and you just notice it. It's just the boot order.
