Blinking vertical lines after waking up from sleep

Hi,

for a second time now, a weird bug has occured on my PC and it's giving me a scare.

I usually don't turn it off, just sleep it, and everything has been fine until very recently. When I woke the PC up after a longer period of sleep, the screen was just blinking black and white vertical lines. I could move a small square with my mouse. Nothing seemed to help, so I restarted it and it was working okay again.

I'm running the fall update of Windows 10, CPU is i7 6700K, MSI Z170A Krait MOBO, 16GB of Kingston DDR4 RAM.

Do you have any idea what may cause it? If there's any other info I should provide, please, let me know.

Looks like some issue with graphics driver after waking up from sleep.
Try using hibernate instead of sleep.

I'll have to wait for a while to see if the solution really helped.
