Question Blinking white LED on GPU ?

I'm looking for some help diagnosing GPU problem on my new build. The Gigabyte RTX 5070 Ti has the blinking white LED, indicating a power delivery issue. Everything is brand new.

Here’s my parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/The_DHC/saved/#view=gLHDJx

Original PSU was the BeQuiet 850W, I tried another new Corsair 1000W PSU, and got the same issue. I tried both PSUs with the 12V-2x6, tried both PSUs with the included 12v to 3-way PCIE splitter. I tried both with and without the additional PCIE PWR1 at the bottom of the motherboard. I tried different wall outlets. Ive checked and rechecked the cable connections and made sure everything is seated correctly.

Everything seems to be working fine, I’ve installed Windows, ran FurMark for a while, kept the system running etc. without issues.

I'm looking for any suggestions on what to try next. Thanks for any advice.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Your PCPP link isn't visible as it's set to private. Yes, that would be right, a blinking LED on the GPU's power connector would mean that the power to the GPU is unstable. Either the connectors, on both ends, isn't fully seated or the PSU's at fault.

Have you made sure your connector is fully seated? Without any cable management(bends/kinks on the cable/harness)?

Thanks for the reply.

Here’s the parts list again.

I have reseated all cables multiple times the last two days, with both of the PCUs. The Corsair PCU had colored plugs to help show that they’re fully plugged in too.

It’s why im scratching my head, everything seems fine, the computer runs, I’ve tried stress testing somewhat, I’ve looked at GPU-Z to see if there’s anything that stands out, but im pretty novice with that type of stuff.

Both of those PCUs are brand new out of the box, using only the provided cables for each one.

I’ve removed basically any non essential stuff, extra fans, fan controllers etc and tried with that setup too. Same light.

I got a response from Gigabyte support, shown below.
Am I paranoid by thinking this is unacceptable for a brand new card?

I think I will just return the card for a new one.

Dear customer
We are sorry to hear about your GPU issue. If everything is working fine, then the LEDs are just malfunctioning and not turning off like they are supposed to. Does it bother you? If yes, then you will need to send it in for a repair. If not, then just ignore it as it will not affect performance or longevity in any way.
