Bloodstone Question

Bloodstone
Equipment. Put this equipment on any minion (this is a +1 stealth (D)
action if the minion is controlled by another Methuselah). This acting
vampire gets +2 intercept when attempting to block the bearer of this
equipment.

A few questions:
1. I assume that the action to put the bloodstone on another minion is
completely seperate from the action (or whatever method is used) to get
the equipment on the minion. Am I right?

2. Further I assume that only the minion with this equipment can
perform that action, and that any minion who has a bloodstone (for
whatever reason) can perform it. Right?

3. If I am right about #2, what happens when vampire A places the
bloodstone on vampire B, and then vampire B places it on vampire C. Do
both A & B get +2 intercept when blocking C?

4. And finally if every vampire in the chain gets intercept versus the
bearer of the stone, can the incercept stack from multiple actions of
giving the bloodstone. For example vamp A puts it on vamp B who puts it
back on vamp A who puts it on vamp C, would vamp A then have +4
intercept versus vamp C (or whoever has the stone eventualy) because
they gave away the bloodstone twice, while vamp B has only +2?

OK... That makes Bloodstone make a ton more sense...

I like the wording on the updated charnas better

"Put Charnas on any minion ( *employing* Charnas is a <+1 stealth> (D)
action if that minion is controlled by another Methuselah"

rather than

"Equipment. Put this equipment on any minion (*this* is a +1 stealth
(D)
action if the minion is controlled by another Methuselah). "

Using the word "employing" rather than "this" when describing the (D)
action makes it very clear that it is all 1 action...
If it had said "equiping Bloodstone is..." I wouldn't have been
confused.

Just my 2 cents, apparently it made sense to everyone else as written...

No.
See also: Charnas the Imp

The action to Equip the Bloodstone puts it on another vampire.

All of your other questions have no value as they are based on a false
assumption.

I control a minion with the bloodstone. Can another of my minions take
an equip action to equip with the bloodstone, moving it from the minion
with the bloodstone to another methuselah's minion?

No. When a minion "equips" with the bloodstone you place it on another
nominated minion.

It's like what happens when you recruit Charnas the Imp. He is placed
on a nominated minion - not the recruiting minion.

Other questions moot.

No.

You merely change who the bearer is. Placing it on another minion only
applies to the original equip action. The original acting minion is the
one who gets the +2 intercept - to the new bearer.

It is similar to "Baleful Doll" - you don't get to choose a new target
for "Baleful Doll", when a minion re-equips from play with it.

This is different from "Leather Jacket", for example, because of the
different wording on "Leather Jacket".

To clarify, a minion can only take an equip-with-card-in-play action to
take a bloodstone in play, for himself[1] - becoming the new bearer.
You don't get to move it to another minion.
