Hi all,

It happens when I was shuting down my pc. So this how it goes.

- shutting down pc as normal. I noticed my monitor turned black(with backlight) and wont completely turned off.
- Im forcing it by turning off the main power switch.(wall switch)
- Then I heard a pop sound either on wall plug or psu, didnt quite sure. Also with electronic smells.
- And pc wont turn on anymore.

What I have done.
- Noticed the psu plug fuse blown. Change it with new one.(same 5amp) Turn on switch then it seems blown too.

What happen?
How can I fix it before considering buying a new psu. Im really on saving right now..

My PSU
CM G650M
Almost 4 years in use.

Thanks in advance!

I hate to break it to you, mate, but you can't fix it. Three main things indicate a dead PSU:
Sparks, frying smell, and PC not powering up (one of many reasons). Knowing the source of the burning smell would tell you whether it's the PSU or the wall outlet. Time for a replacement.
