Blu-Ray player for Windows 7 and OSX?

I am trying to find software that will play Blu-Ray on both Windows 7 and my dad's Macbook. So far we have been unable to find a player that will run on both Mac and Windows, without having to buy 2 separate pieces of software.

Is there any software to allow us to do this?

I previously tried VLC but it wouldn't play the Blu Ray disks. Is there anything that I need to do in order to get it to work?

After trying that, i get the following message;
"Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'bluray:///J:/'. Check the log for details."

Thanks anyway, are there any software options? I can't find any but there must be something out there. VLC now says "Blu-ray error:
This Blu-ray Disc needs a library for AACS decoding, and your system does not have it."
If that is of any use...

For Windows you could try Cyberlink PowerDVD.
For the Mac there's MacGo Mac Blu Ray Player.

Ahh, would Powerlink work on a Windows virtual drive (There is one on the Mac)?

You mean in Bootcamp or Parallels? Yes either way.
