Blu Ray Player not showing up on my computer

I am trying to play my Toshiba blu ray player, but it doesn't show up in my computer. It does, however, show up in device manager, and it says the driver is working properly and is up to date. What do I do?

Try updating the drivers. You may need to install some software.
Did it come with any? Try this:

Try putting a disk in it and it may show up.
Start > Setting > Control panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Select your CD/DVD drive > Click update driver

I did try this and it said that everything was updated! Basically, the blu ray player shows up in the 'disc drive' under device manager' and when I click on it, it says that everything is working properly and up to date, but what I don't understand is why when I go to the properties of 'hard disk drives' under 'my computer' it says that the actual blu ray's location is 'zero'. What does this mean? how can I fix it?

Try unpluging it and replug it in.
