Question Blu-Ray Reading and Writing Software

I just bought a external blu-ray reader and writer for my new mac and I need help picking some safe and preferably free software. I just want to make sure I avoid downloading any viruses/malware and that kind of thing. Can someone recommend some good software to utilize my drive?

Software to do what? There are plenty of Blu-Ray Apps in the App Store.
