[SOLVED] Blue hue flickering in some games and when windows appears over games.

Ok so, when i'm playing and game in fullscreen windowed mode and windows appears over the top of the game, like when getting a system notification or the media controls appear, my screen flickers back and forth between normal colour and being made up entirely of shades of blue.

So far I have had the issue occur without windows appearing in Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5, though i'm pretty sure it also happens in some other games i just cant remember them specifically.

The issue has persisted over multiple driver updates.

Specs:
CPU: FX 8350 @ 4GHz
GPU: R9 270 OC ~1060MHz
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
MOBO: Asrock 990FX Killer

Plz Halp, my gut feeling is either the drivers are wonky or the card is dying.

first step would be replace your video cable and/or use a different output/input to test.
