But getting enough of it in 2K, no clue why. <A HREF="http://"http://andrewt1.tripod.ca/Win2K_error.jpg"" target="_new">This</A> is the link to the error, also it's the 3rd time I try to post this. It keep giving me lovely blue.
It only comes when I surf using IE6 (security patch installed).

Any help would be nice.

Other not important stuff.. can't play cheap pinball, CPU usage goes to 100% and it becomes unplayable. No biggie.

Thanks
Andrew

Source “Windows Resource Kit”
“This Stop message, also known as Stop 0x1E, indicates that a kernel-mode process tried to execute an illegal or unknown processor instruction.”

Further…

“If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error might be a third-party remote control program. If such software is installed, the service can be removed by starting the system using the Recovery Console and disabling the offending system service.”

They list buggy device driver or system service.
And…
Disabling memory caching of the BIOS.

Mull that over while I think.

*this is gonna hurt*

Before you do anything drastic look at the next post and try some of the suggestions.

This might be a great help to tweak it also. It could get rid of some of your problems.

those SP3 security patches, they go before installing any drivers right? This time I want to make sure I do everything right. :)

Q285851_W2K_SP3_x86_en.EXE
Q285156_W2K_SP3_x86_en.EXE
Q299687_W2K_SP3_x86_en.EXE
Q286818_W2K_SP3_x86_en.EXE
Q296185_W2K_SP3_x86_en.EXE
crlupd.exe

The last one look out of place a little, anyway, starting to feel like Win98 with all the patching.

Yes they do. And if you have any trouble you can uninstall one at a time to see if is
the problem.
