Hey guys looking to finish up this build and need some nice SATA cables. They need to be low profile A.K.A. small headers with a small or no lock (small lock preferred). The ones with the big locks will not fit on the mobo because the headers are very close to each other. The bottom row will go in just fine but the top row would be unusable or I should say inaccessible. Would like some white ones or blue in color (white preferred) Thanks for all the help guys.

The head size looks good only issue I see is the length and (really long) and price. The specs and description say 50cm and 60cm both of which would be really long. But I guess that would be better than having them be too short.

Actually just did a quick measure and the size is no issue since it would be just enough to reach the furthest hard rives. Also for the price would love to keep it under $20 since I need 10 cables total.

Seems excessive I know but this is how it all adds up 1 Bu-Ray Burner, 1 Media Card Reader, 2 SSD's, 6 HDD's . The PC is gonna be used as a media tower/server. I have a 2 TB Hard Drive that is almost full of music and one for movies the other for shows etc....

This is turning into a bigger head ache than I earlier anticipated. I would of thought that by now the market would of been flooded by custom and or many variant color cables and forms. I see so many types of power cables and usb cables etc... Also why are the mother board manufactures still cramming the sata ports so damn close to each other. Will an extra millimeter or 2 hurt that much

Ok guys should I just give up on my search because this task is just impossible if Im not willing to spend 2-5 dollars per cable. Or can I buy ones with the lock and simple remove it without damaging the connector.

the SATA connectors on the motherboard are standardized as are the SATA cables and they should work.

I work with SATA cables and drives on a daily bases and have yet to see a problem connecting the SATA cables to a motherboard.

there are a bunch of colors and length available for SATA cables if you don't mind buying from Chines websites.

The issue I was currently having is that the locks on the headers stick out too much and prevent the use of the top row of sata inputs. This board has 6 sata ports 2x3 (meaning 2 rows of 3). My issue is not with the port but how close they are. My main board has them nice and spaced out in height and i can use any cable regardless the size of.

Also I want to thank you on your help the link you posted help me find some very similar cables at a local pc store in my area and I they fit nicely they had no lock

One board is MSI 970a krait edition, The other is a MSI z97. when I get back to my office I will check the other board and give you the details on that one at the moment all I remeber is that its a GIGABYTE.
